Hakone
Leave the city behind and head out to Hakone, famous for hot springs, views of Mt Fuji, and most importantly some great driving roads. This tour takes you out of Tokyo and around Lake Ashi, traversing the Tomei Express, Hakone Turnpike, Ashinoko Skyline, and Old Tokaido Road.
There are two options for the second half of this tour. The more challenging route is along the Old Tokaido Road, which is a very tight and technical road, takes longer to drive, sometimes has pedestrian traffic, and can be hazardous in inclement weather. The alternative route, the Hakone Shindo, runs parallel and interweaves it, but is much less demanding and quicker to drive. This picture shows both roads where they cross.
Either route may be used depending on time constraints, weather conditions, driver comfort, or other factors.

Tour Times
10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, including a stop for lunch. Check-in and registration begins at 9:30 AM.
Meals are optional and available for purchase at a pre-planned stop. Meal options vary depending on the tour itinerary.
Starting / Finishing Location
The meeting point for this tour is in Shibuya, Tokyo. It is located between JR Shibuya Station and Tokyo Metro Omote-Sando Station, less than 10 minutes walk from either one. The tour will end by returning to the same location.
Additional Info
Please be aware that Mt Fuji is notoriously shy. It's very possible the mountain will be completely hidden by clouds even with a direct view of it.
