Registration Policies All guests participating in a Guided Tour must be registered prior to participating in the Guided Tour, whether they are drivers or passengers. A residency card ("zairyu card") if living in Japan, or Passport if living abroad, must be presented for each guest to be registered. Only guests registered as drivers are allowed to drive rental vehicles. Drivers must be at least 26 years old. Drivers must be legally authorized to drive in Japan, and must prevent proof of this during registration. Failure to provide adequate proof of legal driving status will result in the reservation being cancelled. The required documentation for drivers includes: A Japanese driver's license, or A non-Japanese driver's license AND International Driving Permit (IDP), or A non-Japanese driver's license AND official Japanese translation. All documentation must be valid and current. Invalid or expired documents will not be accepted. The IDP must be based on the 1949 Geneva Convention. Japan does not accept the 1968 version. Digital licenses or untranslated licenses are not accepted. Cancellation Fees Guided Tours cancelled within 2 days of the reserved date are subject to cancellation fees. Cancellation fees will be deducted from the reservation payment refund. Day of reservation: 100% fee Day before reservation: 50% fee Two days prior to reservation: 25% fee Three or more days prior to reservation: no cancellation fee
