I’ve spent a large portion of the last few weeks doing a bunch of housekeeping around the Redpants website. Too keep things simple, I’ve laid out a bunch of stuff like an index. Sorry, no incessant rambling this time. I’m sure you’re all terribly disappointed.

Redpants Sale

Redpants products in the Online Store are currently on sale with 10% off their normal pricing. There’s no coupon code or anything else you need to do - the discount is already applied on the product listing. The Redpants Titanium Lug Nuts have sold out but more are being made so act now if you want them at a discount!

I’m probably going to keep the sale going through June for Men’s Mental Health Month, which has become rather near and dear to my heart.

Website Updates

Redpants V8 Vantage Build Page - Just about completely rewrote it, adding a ton of information and more pictures, plus reorganizing it to be more chronological. It’s now much longer and more in-depth and, somehow, I’m still not done with it…

Articles Index - Reactivated the index for the articles I’ve written over the years. I still need to go through each one and fix all the broken links in them and make some updates, but at least the index itself can be accessed again so it’s easier to get to the Articles.

Intake System Info Page - Expanded it a bit with additional information, and added more pictures.

I’ve also fixed a bunch of broken links throughout the website, either updating them so they work correctly or just deleting them. There are still plenty that need fixing, though, so don’t be surprised if you still see some. I also need to update a bunch of my older content, like the Articles mentioned above and the Info pages.

Product Updates

A couple of routine maintenance items have recently changed design, and with that came new part numbers. The previous versions are no longer available. The current version is what is now offered by Aston Martin.

DB9/DBS/Virage Trunk Struts (Coupe) - Part number 4G43-406A10-AC is now 4G43-SE406A10-AC, and the finish on the shock body has been changed from chrome to grey.

V8/V12 Vantage Hood Struts - Part number 6G33-16C826-AB is now 6G33-SE16C826-AB, and the finish on the shock body has been changed from chrome to grey.
